Although the Walton Backwaters are not known for rapid change, reports have been made of changes within the channel in the vicinity of Island point. When funding and equipment become available we will re-survey this area however it is a considerable undertaking in the light of the area that needs to be covered. This should be made somewhat easier utilizing our sidescanner to focus on areas of concern or interest.
