The Deben, Ore and Southwold entrances by their nature are constantly changing, often without warning.
If you are unsure about any aspects of entering the River Deben, please contact John White on 01394 270106 or Stephen Read on 07860 191768 for the latest pilotage information, alternatively call 'Odd Times' on VHF CH 8.
For details and pilotage for Southwold, please contact the harbourmasters office on VHF CH 12 or by phone on 01502 724712 during the hours of 08.00 and 20.00 local time.
For Brighlingsea, please contact the Brightlingsea Harbour Commissioners by telephone on 01206 302200.

We are additionally bound by the following license agreement in the representation of copyrighted survey data presented on the River Deben Entrance, River Ore Entrance, Southwold Entrance and Walton Approaches Sketchmaps.
Soundings are reduced to LAT and adjusted for the survey location using Co-tidal charts contained in Admiralty publication NP249. by Mr. P Atherton also using tidal data supplied by the British Oceanographic Data Centre as part of the function of the National Tidal & Sea Level facility, hosted by the Proudman Oceanographic Laboratory and funded by the Environment Agency and the Natural Environment Research Council.
