Three visitors moorings are to be found to the south of the Aldeburgh Yacht Club on the seaward side of the river. Berthing on unattended moorings, whilst not recommended, will be charged for by boatman.
The quayside at Snape is available for berthing. we have not been informed of any administration or berthing dues collactable however access appears to be on a first come first served basis.
The bottom in the vicinity of the quayside is soft mud for an approximate depth of 1m on top of hard clay. Mud is deeper toward Snape Bridge but water depth is shallower.
The quay is rather high at low water so if possible it's a good idea to rig a ladder. Fender boards are also well advised.
It should be noted that meteorological conditions may affect and alter the areas surveyed and the data published therein merely reflects the measurements taken, at the last survey and does not necessarily reflect the situation as may exist at a subsequent occasion for any particular location.
